The Techniques for Successeducational conference supports the inclusion, equity and success of studentswith Down syndrome (Ds) and intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Theconference topics will focus on behavior, special education and online learningadaptation, and the intersection between social justice and disability rightsand advocacy. Our speakers are a who’s-who from the region (and some, in thenation.) Those who register for the conference will have access to recordingsand materials for 90 days after the presentations. This year’s presenters andtopics include Dr. Sean Smith, topic: Digital Solutions for ALL Learners, Dr.Naliyah Kaya, topic: Culture, Identity & Disabilities: Using Storytellingto Explore Intersectionality and Inclusion within Educational Settings and Dr.Dan Shapiro, topic: A Pandemic is a Terrible Thing to Waste
