Social Security 101:This seminar covers the eligibility criteria for all of the Social SecurityAdministration’s benefit programs. Besides retirement benefits, the agency alsooffers disability benefits from birth to full retirement age as well assurvivor benefits for children and widowed spouses. Concerns about the futuresolvency of these programs will be addressed. Finally, fraud prevention tipsand an overview of the online services available through Social Security’swebsite will be provided. These services can be used by individuals throughouttheir careers for financial planning purposes and later, while collectingSocial Security, to manage their benefits.
