Do you have a student with an IEP or IFSP starting in a HCPSS preschool thisfall? Are they new to riding the bus? Please join us for a practice bus ride.Your child will have an opportunity to get on the bus, get strapped in a 5-pointharness, and go for a ride around the Cedar Lane campus. The bus driver will beable to answer general questions regarding bus safety. Early Intervention staffwill be onsite to assist you. There may be a short wait for a ride depending onthe number of participants, please plan accordingly. Reminder, this is theCedar Lane campus in Fulton, not the Old Cedar Lane/County Diagnostic Center inColumbia. We encourage families to take photos during this event! Pictures willalso be taken by HCPSS staff at the event. If you do not want your child’spicture taken by HCPSS staff, please request an opt-out form from a staffmember at the event. Email FSRC@hcpss.org with questions. No registration required. If yourchild is sensitive to noise feel free to bring headphones, the running bussescan be loud for some children. This event will take place rain or shine.Thisevent is part of the HCPSS Parent Empowerment Series including training aboutspecial education and events for families of students with an IEP or IFSP.
