Do you have a student with an IEP or IFSP starting in a HCPSSpreschool this fall? Are they new to riding the bus? Please join us for apractice bus ride. Your child will have an opportunity to get on the bus, getstrapped in a 5-point harness, and go for a ride around the Cedar Lane campus.The bus driver will be able to answer general questions regarding bus safety.Early Intervention staff will be on site to assist. There may be a short waitfor a ride depending on the number of participants, please plan accordingly.Reminder, this is the Cedar Lane campus in Fulton, NOT the Old CedarLane/County Diagnostic Center on Beaverkill Rd. There will be photoopportunities, feel free to bring a phone or camera to take pictures. For thisoptional bus practice, per CDC recommendations, masks will be required byadults and children attending the bus practice (Center for Disease Control order remainsin effect for mask wearing on all forms of public transportation, includingschool buses). Considerationsfor students riding the bus without a mask during the school year will be givenas we get further HCPSS guidance regarding COVID precautions for the 21-22school year.
