This presentation will address current neuroscience findings underlyingdyslexia, a language-based learning disorder, and ADHD, an executive functiondisorder. Dr. Culotta will discuss recent research findings including brainimaging, genetics, and the impact of symptoms in school and home settings. Therole of an IEP, 504 plan, and accommodations will be discussed. Strategies forsuccess in the classroom will be reviewed. There will be time for questionsfollowing the presentation.
