This session is geared towardyouth suicide prevention and intended for youth ages 13 & up and their families.QPR stands for Question, Persuade and Refer — the 3 simple steps anyonecan learn to help save a life from suicide. Just as people trained in CPR andthe Heimlich Maneuver help save thousands of lives each year, people trained inQPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how toquestion, persuade and refer someone to help. Key components covered intraining include:

How to get help for yourself orlearn more about preventing suicide
The common causes of suicidalbehavior
The warning signs of suicide
