This program is designed to:n*Increase availability of affordable, innovative, direct fitness for youth and adults with autism and other disabilities.n*Provide fitness experiences for participants who need support in order to participate.n*Improve the health and well-being of participants – balance, strength, endurance, flexibility, body awareness.n*Grow independence, self-confidence, self-esteem and ability to work with others.nThis program is made possible through the generosity of The Hussman Foundation and Alpha Academy and is sponsored by The Howard County Autism Society. It is our goal to provide enough volunteers for participants, however, parents or aids may be required to support the participant during class if an appropriate volunteer is not available. This is not a drop off class. Once registered, we will email you an informational form which must be completed and returned to us before the first session. Questions?
