Join Maryland Coalition for Families for this unique 2-day training opportunityfor Howard County parents and caregivers of school-aged children with mentalhealth challenges. Workshops will include information about:
Understanding your child’s behavioral health needs
Learning to navigate special education services and other systems you and yourfamily rely on
Finding your voice to be the best advocate for your child, yourself, yourfamily, and your community
The training includes meals and overnight accommodations. Support for childcareand transportation expenses is also available if needed. Space is limited forthis event to 20 participants.
