Every stateregulates driver’s license eligibility of persons with certain medicalconditions. The most common requirement for people with epilepsy is that theybe seizure free for a specific period of time and submit a physician’sevaluation of their ability to drive safely. In this presentation, we willprovide an overview of the driving laws and restrictions for Maryland and theDistrict of Columbia. In addition, we will provide a comprehensive overview oftransportation options for non-drivers.
