To our entire Howard County community, let us support each other during this very difficult period. We do not know when or how this virus will end, but social distancing is a critical part of the process. To that end, we recognize the direct supports and services provided by our school system will be limited. What we want to remind our community is that special education students are just a small part of an overall plan to provide 59,000 students with instruction. HCPSS should be working on providing the majority of students comparable instruction from course to course. Special education, FARMs, ELL and other populations are a component of that plan, not the barrier. Please stay safe.
