On Wednesday, Feb 5th SECAC will be hosting our 2nd Annual Advocate Night. It will be in the Wilde Lake Middle School library from 7-9pm.
Sign up by 1/31 for a free 15 minute session with a special education advocate and don't forget to bring your student's IEP.
We will try our best to pair you with the best advocate for your student's needs as well as schedule at one of your preferred times. We will send an email with the time by Monday Feb 3rd.

Under law, Howard County Special Education Citizens Advisory Committee (SECAC) advises the school system on the needs of students with disabilities. We collaborate with other community disability advocacy groups to improve special education and the lives of our students in Howard County, MD.
There are approximately 56,000 students in our district and 11% of them are students with special needs who have an IEP or 504.
