Tuesday, November 1, 20227:00-8:30 p.m.

Virtual Event

Occasionally, adults with ADHDreact with intense emotion to unexpected transition or change. Even minorfrustrations and interruptions can cause us to overreact with an outburst ormeltdown, making it hard to complete tasks or maintainrelationships. We can’t always stop intense emotions from spilling over, but we can learn to minimize the harm they may cause to others and ourselves. In this webinar, participants will learn:

  • Tools to create awareness for monitoring emotions
  • Strategies through mental fitness to release emotions effectively and restore a sense of wellbeing
  • Strategies for when you are feeling stressed or overwhelmed to take some time in between the tasks just recenter yourself.
  • How to respond differently in personal and professional relationships damaged by emotional outbursts
  • Research-based strategies for cultivating emotional resilience when change occurs
