It’s truly moving, eye-opening, incredibly vivid.”— Jon Stewart, The Daily Show. The book is a one-of-a-kind memoir that demonstrates how Higashida’s mind thinks, feels, perceives, and responds in ways few of us can imagine. Siblings, classmates, and friends who never thought they could get inside the head of their loved one with autism will gain perspective to the curious, subtle, and complex life within. This discussion is part of the Reading without Walls: Understanding Culture through Literature series sponsored by the library. All teens are invited to attend.
