Social media use has many benefits forindividuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD),including maintaining connections with others, being included within thedigital world/society, and having a way to contact others in case of anemergency. However, there are also dangers and risks that come with usingsocial media. In this series we will discuss positive and safe social media usefor individuals.
