According to a 2017 study, by age 21 approximately 20% of youth withautism had been stopped and questioned by police. As a part of Pathfinders for Autism’scontinuing commitment to promoting positive relationships between those withdisabilities and the law enforcement community, we feel there is a need for aholistic approach to this critical conversation. Please join our moderator,former police officer and 105.7 The Fan morning show host, Rob Long, as healong with an adult with autism and a panel of law enforcement officers discusstips to help ensure everyone’s safety. The panel will also discuss whatcaregivers can do to help make it a better interaction for all involved.
