LIFE AFTER HIGH SCHOOL: FINDING A GOOD POSTSECONDARY FIT FOR YOUNG ADULTS WITH ADHDnTuesday, October 15, 2019 7-9:00pm nHoward County Community Resources Campus n9770 Patuxent Woods Drive nColumbia, MD 21046nThere are many postsecondary paths to independence for young adults with ADHD who learn differently. In this presentation, you will learn about traditional college options as well as alternate paths that provide support to students in executive functioning, independent living, and social skills. You will learn that not all colleges and programs are created equal! Programs that provide vocational/technical training and academic skill development will also be discussed. This program is appropriate for parents, and also for students with ADHD who are considering postsecondary options. Presenter Judith S. Bass, CEP has provided comprehensive college and post-secondary planning for students who learn differently. The presentation will conclude with a 15-minute Q&A.
