Washington Pediatric Hospital. This workshop will review a range of issues that children who have siblings with autism spectrum disorders may face, including the impact on their emotional and behavioral functioning, as well as social and relationship factors. How these issues may change throughout the developmental lifespan will also be discussed. Additionally, factors such as gender, severity of ASD presentation, culture, and comorbid diagnoses will be reviewed. The workshop intends to be relevant to parents and educators of children of all ages and will include an opportunity for questions and further discussion.
