Evaluation does not require thatissues involving emotional difficulties be present to acquire the diagnosis ofADHD, yet the most difficult area of life for many, or even most adults, isrelationships. As the research on adults with ADHD continues to accrue,difficulties with emotional regulation and sensitivity to real or imaginedcriticism have emerged. This presentation will examine current findings on bothemotional dysregulation and on RSD, as well as examining the reasons both aremore likely in an adult with ADHD, and what can be done about it.
