AUTISM AND EVERYDAY EXECUTIVEFUNCTION

Wednesday, January 25, 202312:00-1:30 p.m.

Virtual Event

This presentation will be basedon a simple statement made by an adult autistic friend of mine, “autism changesthe rules” she said. “In fact, it is more important for an autistic person tolearn executive functions than it is to learn social skills.” Executive functionsessentially control our behavior and emotions, but for the autistic person thiscan be difficult. This presentation will be about the executive functions, butmore importantly, there will be detailed suggestions for how to access andstrengthen these functions specifically for the autistic individual. The ideasshared will be simple, direct, and applicable for home and school. Presented byPaula Moraine, M. Ed. To register visit https://pathfindersforautism.org/asd-exec-func-webinar/.
